interiors: living room drama

Living rooms are especially troubling for me. Not that I don't know what I like, I definitely do. Sometimes, though, I can't seem to decide what I like best. Or, more importantly, what I like the most for my space.

I love a polished, adult space...

And an eclectic, global look... 

But sometimes all white seems so fitting...

And that doesn't even touch the masculine versus feminine battle.

Lucky for me, mixing up design styles is ever popular. (Also, this helps me sneak in way more pinks, blushes, and other feminine touches than my husband would otherwise embrace.) Whether I'm picking a new sofa or re-imagining a coffee table vignette, I try to keep the mix fun and eclectic. Sometimes that means adding just one unexpected element so the whole thing doesn't look like a jumbled mess, but sometimes there's room for more experimentation... For now, the living room drama continues...
